A Unique and Innovative Approach to Medical and Nursing Education
We decided that too many meetings, conferences and courses focussed on the individual speciality with opportunities for team building across departments limited.
So we turned it on its head - we put the disease and patient first and then build the teaching around that. By bringing in all specialities involved with that problem under one banner we can share knowledge, enhance learning opportunities, promote multidisciplinary teamwork, break down traditional boundaries and help specialities understand other's roles.
The net result - seam-less education across interested groups leading to seam-less care and improvement in that delivery to all our patient groups.
